Mkt.bourk, June 13. It is now definitely known that the report of tlie death of Hanlan was quite un(founded. \ An exhibition of electrical appliances has been opened here. The ceremony was performed by the Governor. It is stated that the Government intend to modify the scheme for readjusting the taxation which was announced by Sir Bryan O'Loghlen in his financial statement. Nothing, however, is definitely known with rega< d to the measure which the Government pi'opose to bring down.
