LICENSING COURTS. WAITOA.
Tub Licensing Committee for the district of Waitoa, held their quarterly meeting on Wednesday last at the schoolhouse Morrinsville. Present : — Messrs W. P. Chepincll (chairman), C. Gould, R, Parr, Turnlnill, and J. Hunt.
Renewals. The applications of the following hotel-keepers for renewal of the licenses held by them were granted : — 11. S. Brown, (Nottingham Castle Hotel); T. Veale and A. Balcke, (Te Aroha Hotel), and W. Dibsell, (Waihou Hotel).
New Licenses. Mr Dyer, on behalf of Mr W. S. Buck, applied for a licen>e for the new hotel erected by him at JMori'insville. Mr Cull", on behalf of Mr R. S. Brown, opposed the granting of the license on the giound that the public lequirements did not call for another hotel. The Bench, however, decided to grant the new license, and certificate issued accordingly.
