SCIENCE Y. THE BIBLE. TO THE EDITOR.
Sin, — As I see by your paper of the 23ul inst , that I omited to put my name to the postscript of my letter on "Science venui> ths Bible," and as I think it only fair to give any rev. gentleman, that may wish to confute the matter, a chance to find me, I beg leave to do so here In the meantime [ may bay that it is my opinion that any lev. gentleman preaching such doctrine as science to the detriment of the "Bible, and at the same time receiving pay for being a Church of England minister, must know that he is, to say the least, receiving pay under false pretences, as ho is paid to preach the .Bible, and instead of doing so preaches his own ideas. — I am, &c, Ejjwakd John Mokfitt.
