After the thiid volley a member ot the Hobson Corps accidentally filed hisgun, severely burning William Biadley, his front rank man, on the cheek and neck. Biadlcy at once fell out and sought medical assistance. It is probable that his face will be slightly disfigured for life by the accident. There were no sports provided, consequently although the holiday was strictly observed, people found dilHculty in amusing themselves, especially as the weather was too cold and thicatening for pienioing. This morning David and John Simpson ■were duving in a buggy down Wellcblcystrcet when, from &ome unexplained cause, the vehicle capsized, precipitating its occupants to the roadway. Both gentlemen sustained a severe shaking, but fortunately no other injuries lesulted.
