Most encouraging news has been received from tlie Waihi goldfields and there was a good demand for the Martha and Young Colonial shares to-day. Martha's were sold at 10s, while buyers of Young Colonial were numerous at 4s. There Avas better enquiry for Southern Cross shares on change to-day.
