BURGLARY AT KIHIKIHI.

On Sunday night the store of Mr William Corboy was broken into by some person or persons, as yet unknown. It appears that about a week back some one willfully broke one of the large panes of glass in the window of the store, and immediately ran away. Mrs Corboy thinking it was an accident took no further notice. However, it appears that the accident gave access to the thieves, who, lifting the shutters over the bear window, got tluough the hole previously made for their convenience. The only thing missing, at present, is the uncounted cash from the till, which is supposed to be from a pound to two pounds. The same night the bar of Mr Andersons Hotel was attempted, the giass being broken in the window for the purpose of undoing the fastening. But the lascals got foiled by some other obstruction, which it appears had been placed in the window to guard against such accidents. — [A Correspondent.]
