SALE OF RACING STOCK. [BY TELEGRAPH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Christchurch, Last Night.

Aperies of auction sales of racing stock were held this morning. The following are the principal lots : — Middle Park : Yearling filly by Traducer, out of Strenua, 300 guineas, Horsford (Christchurch); colt by Traducer— lndia, full brother to Sir Modred and Betrayer, was passed in at 1000 guineas; filly by Totara— Waipune, 515 guineas, Somers (Tapanui). Horsford's string of racehorses were offered,,but none sold. Mason and Vallance's stud : Coupon, 2yrs., fetched 61 guineas, purchaser Caughtrey (Dunedin); The. Jilt, 2yrs., fetched 75 guineas, Doune (Christchurch) ; Minerva, 2yrs, 55 guineas, Doune (Christcliurch); yearling colt by Albany-Mer-maid, 350 guineas, Sam Powell (Christchurch) ; Volunteer, 70 guineas, Milne (Christchurch); Fleur de Lys, 200 guineas, Lance (Christchurch); Bundara, 80 guineas, .Cassing (Christchurch); Torrpioise, 17 guineas, Cassing (Christchurch). At the sale of Stead's racing stock to-day, the following pi ices were realised : — Yearlings by Leolinus — Redman's colt, dam L'Orient, 70 guineas, Hon. Robinson ; Mera, filly, dam Mist, 40 guineas, G. McLean (Otago) ; Lauristor, colt, dam Mist, 55 guineas, Walker (Christchurch) ; Leolinus—Equator filly, 45 guineas, Russell (Christchurch) ; Aida, filly, dam L'Orient, 35 guineas, Powderell(Wanganui); Leonora, filly, dam Gossip, 100 guineas, Captain Russell (Napier) ; four-year-old gelding by Castaway, dam Belle-of-the-Isle, 40 guineas, Driver (Napier).
