AUCKLAND LIVE STOCK MARKETS.

Mr Alvred Ruckland's Wbrki.y Ri-roßr.— At the Haymarkct on Friday, Maich 24, there was a large supply of fodder. Meadow and oaten hay brought from 2s 6d to 4 s 3d per cwt. ; small loads, 15s to 295 ; and straw, 6s to iqb pci load< Horses were yarded in good numVisrs, and all wore disposed of at satisfactory prices. Medium draught colts brought from Ll6 10s to L 1 8; active draughts, Ll6 10s to L 26 ss ; light harness horses and hacks, L 5 to Ll2 10s. At the Haymarkct, on Tuesday, hides wore pitched in Jargor number than usual, and met with .1 biisk enquiry. Prices for sound hides ranged from Ska to sd: calfskins, 3d and 3,' d per 1b; shci-p-skins, 3s 6d to 6s ; pelts, ?d to 2s 4d each; good fleece wool, 7d to 7|d; lambswool, 7^d per lb ; tallow, 23s to 25s 3d per cwt. At Papakur.i, on Wednesday, a larger muster of young cattle than usual met with a steady demand at Kite values, and all brought forward found rcidy bujcrs. At Remuera, on Thursday, dairy cattle were 111 moderate supply, but slow of sale, and last week's values were not sustained. Store cattle were plentiful, particularly calves ; last week's prices were fully sustained. Fat cattle were in full numbers, and a slight advance in price over last week was obtained, some animals of choice quality reaching 255, and the average of the market was at 231 the ioolbs. Few fat pigs wore yarded, but a Targe number of store pigs sold freely at satisfactory prices. Fat sheep were in less than usual number, and those of good quality were better worth about is per head, and store sheep were in steady inquiry at advanced values.

Messrs. Huntkr and Nolans Wkkkly RhPORT.— Horses . On Friday last .1 larger number than usual were yarded, and most of them disEosed of. Horses suitable for coaching and eavy spring-cart work were in good demand, and sold proportionately well, bringing from Ll6 to Las »os ; light harness horses, from Lil to L2O mj hacks, L8 toLi7 10s; heavy draught horses brought L 32 to L 36. Wool, H\dcb, bkms, and Tallow: Hides brought from 3{d to <\d\ skins, from is od to ss; pelts, 6d to is sd ; tallow, 245. per cwt. Cattle : The supply has been fully up to the average, and for fat cattle the price has had a considerably upward tendency, whilst d.iiry stock, though in fully supply, was little enquired for; stores at late values, and in full supply. We quote beef from 24s to 265. Sheep: Lhc yards were completely crammed, and late values were fully sustained. Store sheep were in average supply, with <in average demand; l.unbb wore scarce, and prices, wore consequently hiijh. Pigs : A fair number were y.vrded, and full prices were given.
