TEAROHA.
The shareholders in the Golden Crown No. 1, the Queen of Beauty, and the Young Colonial, met on Saturday last to consider a proposal for the amalgamation of the three claims. After discussing the subject no decision was come to. Afterwards the Golden Crown shareholders met, and resolved to form a company with a nominal capital of £20,000, in the same number of shares. The company was christened "The Premier," and the following were elected a board of directors :— The hon. James Williamson, M.L.C., Messrs P. Comiskey, J. C. Firth, H. E. Whitaker, and Adam Porter. On the same day there was a meeting of those interested in the New Find, or Prospector's claim, when similar steps were taken, the capital being fixed at £20,000, in 20,000 shares, ml paid up, 4000 to be reserved. The directors apgointed were Messrs J. M. Clark, J. lumbers, J. C. Firth, Adam Porter, ami Bullock. Mr D. McDonnell received the appointment of legal manager.
