The Attempted Assassination of the Queen. Melbourne, Yesterday.
The National Aubhem was played in most of the city and suburban churches to commemorate the Queen's escape from assassination. Public meetings are being organised in this city and other towns in the colony to mark loyalty to the Queen, and their pleasure at Her Majesty's deliverance.
