Melbourxe, Feb. 7. In reply to the deputation which waited on him to-day, Sir Bryan O'Loghlen promised to introduce a Bill next session to provide for the flogging of larrakins. The Bank of Victoria pays a dividend for the past half year of 4£ per cent.
Melbourne, February 8. Seacky, the well-known cricketer, has been found guilty of embezzling funds of the Metropolitan Building Society, and sentenced to two years' imprisonment.
