ASHBURTON, Last Night. Sudden Death.

A' man named Henry Crullows, an inmate of the Old Men's Home, who went to bathe with three others on Saturday evening in the Ashburton river, dropped dead directly he stepped out of the water. He had been suffering from heart disease, and had been an inmate of the Home for the last twelve months. Before that he was for some years a resident of Timaru." He was a native of Ireland, being only" 22 years of age, and a great favourrte in the Home. The deceased was buried this morning, an inquest being considered unnecessary.
