The extensive building just erected by the above firm in Lake-street, Cambridge, is now completed, and will be opened with a large horse sale to-day. For some time past the business of this firm has been so increasingly extensive that the accommodation at their disposal has been quite inadequate, and consequently the erection of the present spacious building had, to be proceeded with in order to supply .a want which was very keenly felfc by the proprietors., Indeed, the building just erected is not alone indicative of the prosperity of the firm to which it belongs/ but 'also prominently indicates the deyelopement' of ' the'busi- 1 ness in the district for which it is intended. * Heretofore Messrs '' Hunter's horse sales were carried on in the cattle pens'adjoinirig" the" Town Board office";" ( but as.therje was -no accommodation, heir indeed any other convenience, it wasj/h'ought ,that the,- sopner> such, an %ttndesirable'"stete,of affairs Was'a.bolisWd twenty', stalls,?' affording .for, twenty horses on eackside.
