PIAKO COUNTY. PATETERE OUTLYING DISTRICT. Extraordinary Vacancy. [N ACCORDANCE with Provisions contained in Section 46 of the "Regulations of Local Elections Act, 1876," I, John Hunt, Returning Officer for the Piako County, do hereby give notice that an Extraordinary Vacancy having occurred in the representation of the Patetere Outlying District, an Election will be held at the Auckland Agricultural Company's Station, at Paeroa, on Tuesday, the seventh day of February, 1882, to file the same. Nominations of Candidates will be received by me up to noon of Tuesday, 31st of January, at my address, Postoffice, Morrinsville. JOHN HUNT, Returning Officer, Piako County. RANGIAOHIA HIGHWAY DISTRICT BOARD. rpENDERS will be received up to 2 X o'clock p.m., Saturday, 28th January, for the foltowing works, viz :—: — No. 1. Contract. — Bridge, Culvert, Cuttings, and cutting 500 Fascines. Mr Moncrieff will show this work on Wednesday, 25th, at 3 o'clock p.m. No. 2. Contract. — Hugh Ramsay's Road, Pekapekarau. Mr William Sloane will show the work to be done on this road on Wednesday, 25th, at 2 o'clock p.m. No. 3. Contract. — Cunningham's and W. North's, Road; Te Rahu. Mr Churches will show this work at 10 o'clock a.m., Thursday 26th. No. 4. Contract. — Required for the use of the district 300 yards of good gravel, to be approved of by the Board. No. 2 — Half-chain Road Formation in continuation of above. No. 3 — Cutting and Formation, near Mr F. A. Whitaker's, about 5 chains. No. 4— Cutting 7ft. Drain and Forming Road on Tramway, near Mr Ellison's, 55 chains. No. s— Enlarging present Drain and forming Road, about 30 chains.
