Horses to take their age from first August. Nominations for Handicaps to be sent to the Secretary Waikato Turf Club, Hamilton, on or before Friday, January 27, ISB2, at 8 p.m. Entries for Maiden Plate, President's Stakes, Maiden Steeplechase, and Flying Stakes close on Friday, February 10, at p.m. Weights will be published on Friday, February 3. Acceptances and general entries will be received up to Friday, February 10, at 8 p.m. Entrance money enclosed, with the name, age, and pedigree of horse, and colours of rider. No entry will be received for any of the races except upon this condition : That all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by r majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with carrying out of this programme shall be final. All races to be run under the V.R"C. Rules. Any Jockey riding except in the color* entered will be fined 3sevs. No extry will be received on any pretence whatever after the hour named or without being accompanied by the ncccsiuri/ amount of cash. All persons intending to withdraw horses are requested to give notice to that effect to the Secretary or the Clerk of the Scales one half-hour before starting. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this rule shall pay a fine not exceeding Ssovs. to the Race Fund. All protests must be accompanied with a deposit of osovs., which sum will be forfeited to the Race Fund if the protest is not sustained. Owners of hor&es who are not Members of the Club pay 1 sow qualification. Horses walking over will receive 50 per cent, of the stokes. No percentage off winnings. ROBERT BRADLEY, Secretai-y.
