Our correspondent's wires last night were as follows": — v " Superintendent Thompson received a telegram from Drury this afternoon, stating that a passenger named Latham, by the morning train from Auckland, had dropped dead between the railway •tation and Godkin's Hotel. A cablegram has been received in town from Sydiiey stating that the s.s. Zealandia arrived there on Monday morning, and that no fresh cases of sickness had occurred on the voyage. A child named Jessie Godfrey was knocked down by Schumaher's 'bus today and seriously injured.
