Best brands suitable for shipment are worth: Mutton, to £32 per ton (f o b.): ISeef, to £-jo do. (f.o b.). Wheat —As is usual at this period of the year (between seTsons) the offerings of old have been small, consisting chiefly of balances of parcels in store, which have found buycis at from 2d to 3d reduction on the quotations of last month, and we now quote ss to 5s 2d for milling samples. Ww is coming in slowly, harvesting operations having been retarded by the wet and unsettled weathei We have realised 5s at auction for pood dry samples, and forward sales for "January delivery can be made at 4s od per bushel.
