TE AROHA. Yesterday.
Our special reporter writes : Messrs John Sheehan, J. B. White, F. A. Whitaker and Capt. Morris, M.H.R., arrived in the township in prosecution of a tour of inspection and conference with the residents of this and the adjoining districts relative to the joint operation of the various electorates represented by the hon. gentlemen in Parliament, with a view to the better development of the resources, and the general progress and prosperity of the place. The departure of the mail prevents my doing more than merely announce theirarrival. Capt. Morris in company with Mr Graham reached this place overland from Tauranga, and proceeded last night to Morrmsville where in company with the others, they spent last night, coming on here this morning as stated above. It is understood the newly elected member for Oovomandel, Mr Cadmau, will join them ia the course of the day. The weather so far is all that could be desired for a tour of the kind.
