H.M.S. Emerald was expected to leave Sydney on the 31st December for Wellington, reaching here about the tenth. It is understood she will take His Excellency to either Fiji or Sydney. The total Customs revenue collected in the colony for the nine months ending, 31st December, amounted £1,074,749, being about £66,000 over the estimate. At the Supreme Court this afternoon, Alfred Morey and Eliza Stewart were convicted of robbing from the person, and sentenced to three years and six months' imprisonment respectively. Mary Morey was acquitted. The charge against the Hon. C. T. Pharazyn will be heard to-morrow. AUCKLAND, Lufe Night.
