LATEST WELLINGTON NEWS. [PER TELEGRAPH.]
Association and correspondent's wires received last night report as follows :—: — His Excellency is expected to return from Christchurch on Monday or Tuesday. At the Magistrate's Court to-day, John Hargreaves, charged with burning down farm buildings and other properties at Waiweho, was remanded for a week. It is the election writ for Waikouaiti and not the one for Rodnoy, as was at one time supposed, that has gone amissing. The Rodney writ was received by the Clerk this morning.
