Lefroy, alias Mapleton, who was recently found guilty of the murder of Mr Gold on the Brighton railway, and since executed at Newgate, admitted that he committed the crime, and also confessed to the murder of Lieut. Roper at Ohat« ham, whose death occurred mysteriously some time back.
