Tamahere.
A correspondent iuforms us that of late considerable annoyance and damage Las been occasioned, to flock owners in this neighbourhood, by the ravages of dogs. The other evening two valuable young ewes, belonging to Mr Braugh of Wartle, were destroyed in that way. It is usual to attribute delinquencies of this kind to Maori does, but on this occasion vre are given to understand dogs belonging to European pettlerfl, and not to the Maoris, were the delinquents.
