Bay, foaled Ist May, 1879, got by Darnley (No. 222), Clydesdale stud-bcok. Dam, The Countess by Knookdon (441), Clydesdale Stud-book, who gained the Auchterarder Premium. He was got by Campsie (119), who was a Highland Society's winner at Kelso, and many other premiums. Darnley (222) is by Conqueror (119), Dam, Peegy, by Samson alias Logairs Tom (741). He won Second prize at the Highland Society's fchow at Stirling in 1873. The Premiums of the Glasgow Agricultural Society ia 1876 and 1877, First Prize at the Highland -ociety's Show at Edinburgh in 1877 ; and the Chammon Cup' at the Highland 'and rl AgfuMfturkl Society's Show at Dunvfries 1878, and many other prize,sj siric,e, &'c, &c.
