In the same year won the Hawke's Biy Stake-, 2 miles, in 3min. 54^sec, beating Fishhook and the Maoii Weed, carrying Bbt. 2lbs. mo STAND THIS SEASON. The well-known Clydesdale Stallion, "YOUNG WELLINGTON." Will Travel the following places in the Waikato :—: — Monday — Pukerimu, travelling same evening as far as Mr Grice's Farm via Rotorau^i. Tuesday — Rangiaohia, calling at Mr A. Katnsay's, Kihikihi (Mr Corboy's) that erening. Wednesday— Te Awamutu, calling at Mr Rutherford's farm. Thursday. — Ohaupo (forenoon only), Hamilton that evening-. Friday. — Hamilton, stopping at Railway Hotel ; good grazing for mares at Mr Jolly's, at 2s per week. At Tamahere that afternoon, good grazing at 2s ,pgr week at Mr Jared Alhvill's. Saturday.— Tamabere, and Cambridge at Carter's Stables. He was bred by Mr Patterson, Wanganui. His sire, Wellington, is acknowledged to be one of the finest horses imported to New Zealand. Hia dam was an imported mare from Hobart Town, and, when exhibited, received every first - olass prize as a Brood Mare. " Young Wellington " stands 17 hands in height ; his colour is a beautiful dark dappled brown ; he has & wonderful docile temper; has good action, and for symmetry he has not his equal in the country. " Young Wellington has proved himself a sure foal-getter, and thoroughly staunch in harness. "Young Wellington's" stock, for size, symmetry, and action, cannot be surpassed. " Young Wellington" can trot^ twenty miles in two hours, and has done it. TERMS :— Single Mare, £3 Ss ; Two or more, £2 15*. No Gtboomage.
