Garrard's Case. Auckland, Last Night.
Garrartl was committed for trial to-day for putting a bogus name on the roll. The Wade buiugglmg case was adjourned. At the Supreme Court to-day, counsel announced that the case of Nichols, arising out of the Martini claim, Te Aroha, was likely to be settled amicably out of Court The case was adjourned. A girl eight yeaiy old, a daughter of Capt. John MoKeiizie, deputy harbour master, fell over the cliff in iLirdingestreet, and sustained sever, but it is not known whether they are fatal injuries.
