Alkxaxbra, Lost Night. Mr Percy Smith, district surveyor, arrived heie yesterday m company with Rewi. They inspected the proposed roads on the east md west sides of the river in the king country. Then decision is not yet known. Tawhiao, with Maior Mair and Mr Smith, are now at Te Rore inspecting the new bridge at that place. The Cainbudge deputation, consisting of Messrs Fergu=sson, McLean, Grico, and Walker, whocani'j to see Tawhiao regarding a road on to tlu Horahoia block, which has been dispu r ed by some of the local natives, left heie to- lay, Tawhiao and Row i agreeing th.it no further trouble should be given them in the matter.
