Irish Affairs. London October 17.

The head-quarters of the Irish National Land League hava been 'removed to Liverpool. Since the arrest of Mr Dillon, on the 14th instant, Mr Arthur O'Connor, M.P. for Queen's County, for whose arrest a warrant has been issued and who has escaped to England, has assumed the direction of the affairs of the League Measures have feeen adopted by the Government for the suppression of disorder in Ireland being earned out with unabated vigor. Further, a large number of warrants have been issued by the Irish Executive, for the arrest of "suspects," and many of the local leaders of the Land Letigue have already been taken into ous. tody in proclaimed districts. Telegrams to hand from Ireland state that the riots which recently ooourred at Limerick, between tbe police and the people, were renewed to-day, whwn further serious disturbances took place. It now transpires that the announcement made on the 14th inst. that Mr. Aithur O'Connor, M."?. for Queen's Oaunty, was in custody, was premature. It now appears that, hearing that a warrant had been issued, he made his escape to England, and is still at large. Serious rioting took place at Mallow, in County Cork, yesterday, between the troops and people. The former fired upon and then oharged the rioters, several of whom were severely injured before they were dispersed. A large meeting under the auspicea o the League, which was being hold yesterday at Limerick, and was attended byj a gre.it many people, was suppressed by order of the Government, a large force of police being despatched fco disperse tho assemblage. Recent speeches and letters by the English Democrats have denounoed in strong terms the course now being pursued by tho Government in Ireland.
