CRICKET. Alexandra v. Ohaupo.
Our local cricket club's challenge to play any club this side of the line was answered by the Ohaupo club, who sent over a team to represent them on Saturday last, when a good game eventuated ; but fortune did not favor the visitors, our team winning by 17 runs. Mr Wade was captain for Ohaupo, and Mr G-rier-son, who was captain for Alexandra, made the top score in the match. For the visitors McG-uire and Richdale bowled well, while for Alexandra Lang, Grierson, and Hinton did good work. The following are the scores :—: —
