In the same year won the Hawke's Bay Stake", 2 ruilea, in 3min. 54isec, beating Fishhook and the Maoii Weed, cariying Bbt. 2lbs. Tho well-known Clydesdale Stallion, "YOUNG WELLING-TON." Will Tiavel the following places in the Waikato :—: — Monday — Pukerimu, travelling same evening as far as Mr Giice's Farm via Rotorau o 'i. Tuesday — Rangiaohia, calling at Mr A. Ramsay's, Kihikihi (Mr Corboy's) that evening.' Wednesday— Te Awamutu, calling at Mr Rutherford's farm. Thursday.— Ohaupo (forenoon only), Hamilton that evening-. Friday.— Hamilton, stopping at Railway Hotel ; good grazing for mares at Mr Jolly's, at 2a per week. At Tdinahere that afternoon, .good grazing at 2s per week at Mr Jared'Allwill's. ' Saturday.— Taraahere, and Cambridge at Carter's Stables. , - He was bred by Mr Patterson, Wangariui. His sire, Wellington, is acknowledged to be one of the finest horses imported to New Zealand. His dam was an .imported mare from Hobart Town, and, when exhibited, received every firstclass prize as a Brood Mare. "Young- Wellington" stands 17 hands in b'e.igh't 5 hia colour is a beautiful dark dappled brown ; he has fi wonderful docile temper; has good action, and for symmetry he has not his equal in the country. " Young Wellington " has proved himself a sure foal-getter, , and thoroughly staunch in harness. ♦'Ypung "Wellington's" stock, for, , size, symmetry,, and action, cannot be sur-, passed.
