He was also the winner several times of the Ch<unpion Gold Medal at the principal Annual Shows in Victoria. As a Sire ho was unrivalled, as five oi his stock obtained at two National Shows prizes of the unpiecedentud sum of £195 6s Scl, four £30 Cups, and four Medals. " Loid Derby's " dcim, "PiincehS Maud the Gth," gamed seven First Piizeb. Her hiie, "Prince Charlie,'' was many years tho Champion Horse of Victoria: g. dam, "Princess Maud the 2nd," gainr "I many prizes at Poit Phillip and National Society's Shows; her sire, "Sir Colin Campbell," gamed Fust Prize at the Highland Society's Show, 1857 ; q g. dam, " Pnn-cc-s Maud the l^t," gained First Pnze at tho Highland Society s Show, 18oC, and has gained First Pu/es in Victoria too numerous to mention.
