Got by Ravensworth, clam Plover, by Sir Hercules, Ravens worth by Touchstone, Fair Jean by Verulam, Fair Queen by Pantaloon. Heicules is a bay horse, 8 years old, and stands 15^ hands high, combines the beat of blood with good bone and immense power, and has proved himself a irood horse on the turf. At the Canterbury meeting in 1876, Avon the Grand Stand Handicap, 1 mile, in 1 mm. 50 sec., carrying Sst. 21bs., beating 6 otheis. In the same year won tho Hawke's Bay Stake-, 2 miles, in 3min. ol^sec, beating Fishhook and the Maoii Weed, carrying 8&t. 2lbfi. Hercules will travel on and after I£t October, calling at the undermentioned places : — Mondays— Leave Goldburn, passing through Tamahere, Cambiidgo, and Pukerimu, to Ohaupo. Tuesdays— Te Awamutu, and Kihikihi. Wednesdays— Rotorangi, and Cambiidge. Thursdays — at home, where he remains foi the lest of the week. Teims— £3 103 each marc, Two or moie as per arrangement. npo STAND THIS SEASON. The well-known Clydesdale Stallion, "YOUNG WELLINGTON." Will Tiavel the following places in the Wfukato :— Monday — Pukerimu, travelling same evening as far as Mr Guce's Farm vm Rotoran^'i. Tuesday — Ttangiaohia, calling at Mr A. Ramsay's, Kihikihi (Mr Corboy's) that evening. Wednesday — Te Awamutu, calling afc Mr Rutherford's farm. Thursday.— Ohaupo (forenoon only), Hamilton that evening 1 . Friday.— Hamilton, stopping at Railway Hotel ; good grazing for mares at Mr Jolly's, at 2s per week. At Tamahere that afternoon, good grazing at 2s per week at Mr Jared All will's. Saturday.— Tama here, and Cambridge at Carter's Stables. He was bred by Mr Patterson, Wanganui. His sire, Wellington, is acknowledged to be one of the finest horses imported to New Zealand. His dam was an imported mare from Hobart Town, and, when exhibited, received every firstclass prize as a Brood. Mare. " Young Wellington " stands 17 hands in height ; his colour is a beautiful dark dappled brown ; he has a wonderful docile temper; has good action, and for symmetry he has not his equal in the country. " Young Wellington " has proved himself a sure foal-getter, and thoroughly staunch in harness. "Young Wellington's" stock, for size, symmetry, and action, cannot be surpassed. "Young Wellington" can trot twenty miles in. two hours, and has done it. TERMS :— Single Mare, £3 3s ; Two or more, £2 15«. No Gboomage. All accounts to be paid on or before Ist day of January, 1882.
