Riots in India. Calcutta, September 22.
September Serious riots have occurred at Mooltan, Punjaub, between numbers of the rival secte of the native population In the fighting which took place several temples and mosques were greatly damaged and many of the rioters seriously injured. The lighting lasted some hours, and was only quelled by the military, who were called out in force.
