THE NATIVE LANDS COURT, CAMBRIDGE.
[TnUKSDAY, Bth September, 1881.—Before Hit. Honor Judge Symonds.] Thk Court opened afc 10 o'clock. Oidera in sub-divis»ion were made in favour of the European purchasers for the portion acquired by them, and to the non•ellers for the balance in the following blocks :— Te Whetu, Kokako, Mangakar.ita, and Te Pukerunga. Arrangements had bfeen previously made between the Patetere Company as purchasers and the non-sellers as to what portions of these blocks should be retained by the latter. The^e arrangements were accepted by the Judge, and legalised by the pasbing of the orders above referred to. The fact that this difficult matter has been so t-ucccssfully arranged wiU be heard with satisfaction by the public at large, as it points to a satisfactory solution of the difficulty which will render the land available for settlement, as the purchasers will now obtain a legal title to the land* they have acquired.
