TO THE EDITOB. ■Sir, — I have been requested by the ladies of the Committee for the Koiran Catholic Concert to convey to the ladies and gentlemen who assisted them by their valuable aid on Monday night, the expression of their warmest thanks. They particularly wish to thank Messrs Bell, Calon, and Moore for their untiring efforts to make everything a success, not forgetting Messrs Johnson and Stewart who came to assist at the last moment in a very obliging manner; to the ladies who came from afar in such unpropitious weather, too much praise cannot be accorded, whilst the efforts of those in the township deserve every commendation. For my own part I sincerely trust that all who have been so liberal in offering their an vices will always show themselves equally kind and obliging.
