With regard to the shooting case at Paeroa it has transpired' that young Kamera had been con versing with his father on family matters, and it led to a heated discussion The young gentleman wished to retire to his apartment and take his gun with him, but the old man intervened, and ,in the straggle the went off, depriving the old gentleman of two toes. At first, being, alarmed, the son ran away, but afterwards returned home, and the affair waa, amicably settled.
