Attempted Suicide. Wellington, Last Night.
A man named Robert Bolt, Wairarapa, a labourer, who had been on the spree for some days, attempted suicide by striking himself several times on the head with the sharp edge of an axe. He was severely but not seriously wounded. The same man, under the influence of drink, attempted to cut his throat at Nelson two and-a-half years ago.
