NOTICE.
npHE Newcastle 1 District Board purpose X meeting on MONDAY. sth September, at Mr Kellow's Hotel, Whatawhata, for the purpose of making a Rate of One Shilling in the £ on the rateable value of all property in the above distriot for the year ending March 31, 1882"; said rate to become payable in one sum on Monday, September 19th, 1881, to .James Wella, Collector for the Distriot, at Mr Bailey's Store, Whatawhata, \y here the Rate Book is now open for inspection. TAKE NOTICE, the Tamahere Highway District Board propose to stop the undermentioned roads, and with consent of owners take land for roads in lieu thereof. Plans and accurate descriptions may be inspected by ratepayers at the residence of the undersigned, for twelve consecutive weeks from the date hereof. Roads to be Closed. 1. A portion of a road containing 1 acre, I perch; bounded northwesterly by Lot 44, Parish of Tamahere, the property of J. A. Tinne, Esq., 2. Portions of the road containing 1 in all 3 acres, 1 rood 18 perches; bounded on the west by Lots 67 and 68 ; and on the east by Lot 68 Paiish of Tamahere, the property of E. J. Tinne, Esq. 3. A road containing 7 acres, 3 roods 37 petches; running through Lots 20, 21, 22, 23, Parish of Tamahere, the property of S. Ormerod, Esq. 4. A road containing in all 10 acres, 1 rood, 5 perches; running through Lots 22, 23, 25, 26, the property of Messrs. S. Ormerod H. Allright, and a Government reserve.
