WAIKATO MARKETS.
Mr J. S. Huckland's Weekly Report.— At the Horse Sale held in Cambridge on Saturday last, the yard was well filled with useful animals, and, with few exceptions, all were sold. Light ridinjr horses brought from L 6 ios to 12s ; aged draught horses, Li 2 to Lao ; young 1 medium draught and plough horses, in pood condition, wore in request, and many were sold at prices varying fom LlB to L 25 1 os, and two_ pood draught horses L2B each — At the Cambridge Cattle Sale on Tuesday, the fat stock yarded were not of pood quality, and consequently sold at low prices Small heifers and steets only brought L 5 17s 6d to L 7 each ; 50 very choice f.it sheep were sold at 21 s 6d, and 2Z Long-wooled Hoggets 9s 9d ; aged ewes, 10s each. lIkK.
