The Irish Land Bill was again under consideration in the House of Lords today, when the original amendments made in committee were insisted upon by a large majority. Earl Granville, in the course of the debate, protested solemnly against the action of the House. The Bill as read was agreed to, and its reconsideration was resumed in the House of Commons. On Monday next, it is understood that the Government will firmly oppose the amendments of the House of Lords.
