AUCKLAND CATTLE MARKET.

Mr An kid HucKr wd's Weekly Report. — At the Haym.irket yesterday 'Friday), fodder was in usual supply oaten and mc.idow hay bringing from 2S 3d to 43 pur cwt ; small loads ot ha>, 15s to 225, and straw 8s to 21s. per load. The horse markets was well tilled, and, although the bidding was languid, nearly all the horses entered were disposed of at good prices. Three heavy draught colts, bred by Messrs Goodfellow, Waikato, brought from L 25 to L 3 3; four heavy draught geldings, with foals, L 27 10s to L 39 ; and a pair of useful tarra mares, from_ Waitdra, Ll7 10s each. A large number of light harness horses and hacks were disposed of from L 5 to Li2;each. At the Haymarket, on Tuesday, hides and skins were pitched in full numbers, and with a brisk inquiry throughout. Hides advanced in price from half-penny to a penny per pound, or near 20 jier cent, on previous sales, and ranged from ijd to 4jd the lb. Station skins ranged from 2s 6d to 4s nd each ; wool in grease, 7id and 7Jjd the lb ; tallow, 21s 6d to 24s 6d the cwt.
