Mr J S Auckland's Weekly Report. At the Cambridge Horse hale on .Saturday last, 21 hoises of a useful stamp were onteied, and many of them sold at fair v.iluis. Ihe \o calves advertised as beinff bred by Mr D McLaren, brought from 1,2 ios to Li 15s , bmall dairy tows and heifers, LO to L 6 15b, young empty cows, L 4 to L 5; Twenty months to two-year-old steers, L 4. 10s to L 5 ; fat steers, L 7 7s Gd to L 7 15s ; prime fat cows, L 7 to L8 2s 8d each, bhecp 120 were penned and sold. Lonjjwoolled ewe hoggets brought 13s , fat wethers, 15s 6d to 16s each; and 130 merino ewes sold privately .it 6s each. Messrs. W. J .Hunter and Cos. "Weekly Report. — At the Ohaupo Yards on Ihursday, July 21st., there was a smaller number ot cattle than usual brought forward. Iherc was a full attendance of buyers, and keen competition was manifested ; especially for young and giown store stock. Fat cattle, although of good quality, were not in demand. We quote dairy cows from £6 to £6 15s ; store cows, £3 to £\ 2s 6d ; v\eaned calves, £2 gs to £2 12s 6d; two-year-old steers, in low condition, £$ 15s to £4 7s Gd ; fat cows and heifers, £$ to £6 ios , ewe and wether hoggets, as to qs 6d. At the Cambridge Yards on lhursday, July 28th., thcie was the usual supply of fat cattle, and a larger than usual of sheep. There was a keen competition for all lots offered, and everything sold. We quote fat steers, L 6 to L 7 ios ; fat cows and heifers, L 5 ios to L 6 7s 6d , fat ewes, T2s 6d : store owes, 10s. gd , pigs, (fat) from 24s to La 2s 6d • small pigs, 5s to 7s 6d ; riding mare, Lio; saddle and bridle, £3 ss.
