HAMILTON EAST SCHOOL AFFAIRS.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, — Youv correspondent "Parent," in last issue, knows very little of the duties ot the Central Board if he thinks they are going to interfere with a body of men squabbling over trifles, ''like a lot of old women."' Your correspondent must lnmselt be an old woman, or he would have taken the trouble to find out the truth of what he writes about. A reference to the Committee's minute book would show him that the body he finds so much fault with has done more for the teachers and scholars than any of their predecebsors for years past, If the Committee choose to squabble over trifles, what has that to do with " Parent" or any other old woman, so long as they do their duty to the school, as I believe is the case ? — I am, &c, A Father.
