Board Meeting.
Immediately after the annual meeting a meeting of the Board was held. On the motion of Mr Barugh, seconded by Mr Wheeler, Capt. Runoiman was elected chairman and treasurer, and, on the motion of Mr Rhodes, Captain McPherson was re-appointed Secretary, Valuator, and Collector. The Secretary was instructed to write to the Messrs Oowley informing them that if their pigs were not prevented from trespassing in the road they would be shot. A number of accounts were passed for payment. It was decided that the road from Hinton's Gully should be called "Leslie's road." It was resolved that the Secretary write to Mr Oowley with reference to the thorns encroaching 1 on the public road. Messrs "Wheeler and Rhodes were deputed to see to the repaii s necessary at Ciawford's cutting. It'was agreed that eacli member should be authorised to spend a sum not exceeding £1 without authority in his own part of the district, and after deciding to meet on the second Wednesday in each month, .it the Waikato County Chambers, the Boaid rose.
