Revolting Murder in a Railway Carriage. The Victim Stabbed in Several Places. The Body not yet Identified. [REUTERS TELEGRAMS.] London, July 8.

A revolting murder has been committed on the Brighton railway line. The crime fiom the mystery and peculiar circumstances surrounding it created intense sensation throughout the Kingdom. The body of the murdered man has been found in the tunnel. The victim was stabbed in seveial places, and it is evident also that robbery was the motive for the crime, as the clothes of the murdered man were ntled of their contents. One of the carriages of the Brighton train has been found saturated with blood, and bullets discovered embedded in wood work. No clue as to who committed the murder is yet known, but the police and railway officials are making every effort to unravel the mystery. The identity of the victim has not yet been established. There is again a falling off in railway traffic, timid people being afraid to travel. It is also insisted that all carriages should be lighted in passing through the tunnel.
