Intelligence has been received that a rising has commenced among the natives employed on the plantations at Kirwani, m Senogambia, West Coast of Africa. Some excesses have already been committed against the planters, and a general panic has consequently arisen among the European pe'ttlers in the district, many of whom are leaving.
