In the R.M. , Court here .to-day, before B. W. Northcroft, Esq., E.M., the'following cases were heard : — Milesjv. Petty. — Debt, £1 5s No appearance of defendant. Judgment for; plaintiff with full amount and , costs, 17s, Bolton v. Thompson. — Claim, balancs for board and lodging. Mr Gresham for plaintiff. No appearance of defendant. Judgment for plaintiff with costs, \£2 9s. Hill v. Labarte. — Debt, £2 17s 4d. ' No appearance of defendant. Judgment for plaintiff with costs, 18s. ' ' > Polhen v. McMinn, for assault — Lengthy evidence was taken, and information dismissed, the Court being of; opinion, if 'any assault was committed, it was justifiable. , William Oliver v. John Wright St. Glair, on remand, charged with stealing two horses, was dismissed, plaintiffs witnesses not being present.
