Further Disturbances in Ireland. Further Reinforcements of British Troops Ordered Across the Channel. [REUERS'S TELEGRAMS.]
London, June 3. Serious disturbances continue to occur in Ireland. At Clare, to-day, a. body of Irish peasants armed with Snider rifles offered violent resistance to the service of certain writs. , Shots were exchanged Avith the troopers who were present to support the process-servers. One man was killed, and many others seriously wounded.
' ' " ' June 4. Owing to the continuance of disturbances m Ireland, further reinforcements of troops have been ordered across the channel to augment the forces in the dis' affected districts. The police in Ireland are now actively engaged in searching for arms in the houses of suspected persons, in accordance with the powers conferred by the Irish Arms Act.
