Criminal Assault. John Davis charged with the abovenamed oilenee, alleged to have been committed upon Alice Messenger, a child of tender yeais, was, on the application of the police, lum.uuled till Monday. Accused is an mmm old man, baid to be 71 yeaifj of age.
