PRESBYTERIAN CONCERT AT CAMBRIDGE.

A lry successful entertainment was given by the children nnd teachers of the Trinity Presbyterian Sunday .School, in the Cambridge Public Hall on Wednesday evening last. The object of the entertainment was to celebrate in an impressive manner fche anniversary of the establishments of the Sunday School, and to distribute the prizes recently awarded for the Pi e^bytcry's competitive examination. The admihsion fee being merely nominal, the hall was completely filled with parents and friends. The children attending the school contnbuttd in a ci editable manner, and with an ease indicative of careful tiaimng 1 , the various items of the programme which consisted principally of hymns and recitations. The annual report was read by Mr Biook 3 , and exhibited higns of careful and /eilous management in the matter'! of finance and attendance. The prizes, which consisted of ceitific.itcfe, having been presented to the iccipionth by the Rev. Mr. Evans, the second pait of the programme was entered upon, which consisted of quartettes, vocal and instrumental, songs-, readings, and recitations, and weie contiibuted by the Sunday School teachei.s, and other friends. The approbation which ensued on the delivery of each item of the programme testified to the unquestionable aatiefaction of the audience. The proceedings were bi ought to a close by the singing of the National Anthem Thi oughout the evening, the Rev. Mr Evans occupied the chair
