It was a great success, The weather fine, and the racing good, with the exception of the Autumn Hunt Cup, which w as a walk-over for The Agent. NEW ZEALAND GRAND NATIONAL STEEPLECHASE. Of 200 soys. Distance, 4 miles. Mr H. T. Lunn's Clarence, 12st 61bs, (Hidge) 1 Mr P. Butler's Agent, aged, 13st (Lunn) 2 Four others started. MATDEN PLATE Of lOOsovs. Distance, 2 miles. Mr F. James' Quamby, list 12lbs. (Cullan) 1 Mr T. Footer's Sailor Boy, 12st 31bs (Joyce) 2 Stella and Marvel also ran. HUNT CLUB CUP Of 150sovs. Agent had a walk over for this. CONSOLATION HANDICAP Of SOsovs. Distance, 2 miles. Mr Alford's Winfield, 12st (Lyford). . 1 Mr A. Me Alpine's Stella, lOst (Joyce) 2 Mousetrap also started.
